Our course will prepare you for a dynamic career in the Travel and Tourism Management industry. Study this course which will expose you to business and finance operations, knowledge about relevant regulations and legislations, travel and tourism practices, work in a diverse industry, lead your teams and learn how to manage and coordinate travel and tourism operations.

COURSE DURATION

1 academic year (4 terms of 9 weeks each)


CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Possible job roles include retail travel agency manager, reservations manager, sales manager,
tour operations manager, inbound groups manager.


STUDY MODE

All courses are delivered over 20 hours per week
which includes 15 hours of face to face study plus
5 hours of self-paced learning per week.

  • 18 years of age and over

Pathways

At the successful completion of this course students may elect to continue further studies at higher AQF levels such as: SIT60116 Advanced Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management.

  • 12 core units of competency plus
  • 11 elective units of competency

Please note: Some units listed in the selection below have been completed during the study of SIT30116 – Certificate III in Tourism.
