This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as marketing directors, marketing strategists and national, regional or global marketing managers. Individuals in these positions provide leadership and strategic direction in the marketing activities of an organisation. They analyse, design and execute judgements using wide-ranging technical, creative, conceptual and managerial competencies. Their knowledge base may be highly specialised or broad within the marketing field. These individuals are often accountable for group outcomes and for the overall performance of the marketing function of an organisation.
COURSE DURATION
1.5 academic year (6 terms of 9 weeks each). Choose from morning, afternoon and evening classes.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This program has been designed for international students who wish to gain a role in marketing in their own countries or gain a pathway into tertiary study in the marketing area.
DELIVERY MODES
All courses are delivered over 20 hours per week which includes 5 hours of distance learning.
Requirements
- 18 years of age and over
ENGLISH |
• Minimum score of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent; or |
• an English proficiency of upper intermediate level or above from any NEAS accredited ELICOS provider. |
ACADEMIC (PREFERRED) |
• Students will be required to complete the core units from BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communications |

- On completion of this qualification, candidates can choose to study Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Marketing or any other undergraduate degree with a University.
