Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management

Would you like to gain a role as a senior manager in the hospitality industry sector? This course reflects the role of highly skilled senior managers who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with specialised managerial skills and substantial knowledge of industry to coordinate hospitality operations.

COURSE DURATION

2.5 academic years (10 terms of 9 weeks each)

chef, executive housekeeper, executive sous chef, food and beverage manager, head chef, motel owner or manager, rooms division manager


STUDY MODES

All courses are delivered over 20 hours per week which includes 15 hours of face to face study plus 5 hours of self-paced learning per week.

Requirements

  • Minimum score of intermediate (IELTS 5.5 preferred or equivalent)
  • To gain entry into the study the Diploma of Hospitality Management qualification, students must enrol into our full program and start their studies completing Certificate III units of competency or present completed lower suitable qualification and gain credit transfer for completed units of competency.

Pathways

At the successful completion of this course students may elect to continue further studies at higher AQF levels. This course forms part of a package of hospitality qualifications.

The units of competency below have been selected with consultation with our industry partners. The list below identifies units of competency which are completed during the study of Certificate III in Hospitality and Diploma of Hospitality Management.

The elective units are a subject to change.
