Advanced Diploma of Accounting

Broaden your career prospects in the financial services sector or if you are already working in this sector, formalise your skills and gain a professional qualification. Upon completing this
course, you will gain the skills to complete accounting process for a business with responsibility for financial reporting. You will learn about corporate governance activities, evaluate
financial risk, evaluate business performance, manage budgets and financial plans, undertake auditing functions and undertake cost/management accounting activities.

COURSE DURATION

This course is delivered in a structured class-room based environment over one academic year as follows:

  • If you have successfully completed and are deemed competent in all the units, then students can progress to tertiary education in Accounting such as Bachelor of Business (Accounting).

To gain the FNS60217 Advanced Diploma of Accounting qualification, you are required to complete a total of 14 units, which are made up of three (3) core units plus five (11) elective units chosen from a range of elective units. The units offered by SBTA are listed below:
