Their knowledge base may be highly specialised or broad within the marketing field. These individuals are often accountable for group outcomes and for the overall performance of the marketing function of an organisation.

Students who successfully complete this course will be issued with the AQF (Australian Qualifications Framework) BSB61315 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication qualification. Students who partially complete this course (a minimum of one unit of competency) will be issued with a Statement of Attainment from Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication qualification for the unit/s of competency successfully completed.

To study this course at SBTA, the students must:
- be 18 years and over
- Students will be required to complete all the core units from BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communication qualification prior to studying the BSB61315 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication qualification (CRICOS Code 092095D).
- Minimum score of upper intermediate level of English such as:
- Minimum score of upper intermediate level of English such as: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent or an English proficiency of upper intermediate level or above from any NEAS accredited ELICOS provider.
This program will be delivered over a total of 78 weeks (1.5 years) which is made of up of 54 contact weeks plus 24 weeks of holiday breaks.
Minimum of 20 hours per week (minimum of 15 hours face-to-face plus 5 hours of distance learning per week).

Course fees for this qualification is $9,150 which is made up as follows:
- Term fee: $1,525 x 6 terms
- Total course fee: $9,150
- Enrolment fee: Student Visa $250 (Other visas $100)
- Materials fee: $200
Pathways from the qualification
On completion of this qualification, students can choose to study Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Marketing or any other undergraduate degree with a University.
