This course is for individuals with a sound theoretical knowledge base in marketing and communication and who demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Individuals would have normally responsibility for the work of other staff and lead teams in marketing and communication activities.

Students who successfully complete this course will be issued with the AQF (Australian Qualifications Framework) BSB52415 Diploma in Marketing and Communication qualification. Students who partially complete this course (a minimum of one unit of competency) will be issued with a Statement of Attainment from BSB52415 Diploma in Marketing and Communication qualification for the unit/s of competency successfully completed.

To study this course at SBTA, the students must:
- be 18 years and over
- Minimum score of upper intermediate level of English such as:
- Minimum score of upper intermediate level of English such as: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent or an English proficiency of upper intermediate level or above from any NEAS accredited ELICOS provider.
This program will be delivered over a total of 52 weeks (1 year) which is made up of 36 contact weeks plus 16 weeks of holiday breaks

On completion of this qualification, students can choose to study BSB61315 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication.
